SOUTHWOLD RAMBLERS
June to November 2008
Welcome to Southwold's new programme. We have the usual mix of Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday walks, with distances
varying between 3.5 and 13 miles. Hopefully there is a walk to tempt you out. If you have picked up this programme
in your local library, community or information centre, though are not actually a member of the RA, then you are most
welcome to come along with us on a few "taster" walks before we would expect you to join the RA. For those who are
already members of the RA, don't forget that you can walk with Southwold or any other RA local group - all as part of
your annual subscription.
Thank you as ever to all those members who lead or back-mark on Southwold's walks and those who organise the
social and other events - this programme would not be possible without you.

All telephone numbers and starting places have been removed for security reasons.
"All sporting and leisure activities have inherent hazards associated with them and rambling is no exception.
In spite of the safety of members always being the paramount concern, accidents will occasionally occur.
It is important, therefore, that when entering into the activity, each member appreciates that they have a responsibility to
identify the hazards associated with the activity and take all reasonable steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident to arise."
